i-Lodica is a force of nature. A traveller by calling, he steps into town ready to play his melodica and sing for the people, whether it is in a town square in the middle of the afternoon, a sound system, a recording studio or a music festival.
Beginning his career in 1995 playing melodica and percussion, i-Lodica was part of the original line up for 12 piece reggae band, Makating.
With Makating, he supported Horace Andy, The Wailers, Robbie Valentine, Mykal Rose, Sugar Minott & Eekamouse.
His first record as a solo artist, 'i-Lodica theme', with the Disciples, reached number one in the online riddim charts.
i-Lodica has since recorded and played live, over the years, with the likes of Conscious Sounds, The Iration Steppas, Mannaseh, Vibronics, Alpha & Omega, Dub Creator, Kibir La Amlak & Mad Professor.
