Every month I record a tape with a set theme, mood or concept. The uploads are recorded directly from tape.
The tapes are mostly rather selections than mixes with artistic transitions so the individual songs are in the spotlight, with no emphasis on playing particularly unknown songs.
Music never exists in isolation from its context. Cultural appropriation is a problem wide spread, but also particularly present in (electronic) music. This topic is very important to me and I try to deal with it consciously. For more insight into my process, visit my Instagram page.
