Starting as a high school DJ with a double cassette player, MrG (SI) soon became immersed in music, DJing at proms and smaller parties while working in a sound studio. Inspired by Ibiza’s house music scene, he transitioned from turntables to the Denon DN 2700f double CD player, bringing house music to local bars and pubs. With the rise of controllers and DJ software, he performed at venues like Casa del Papa, Pri zelenem zajcu, K4, Kino Šiška, and Cvetličarna, and even DJ-ed at the Exit Festival in Novi Sad as part of the duo Ghost & Buster. Though his primary career is as a film and TV director, DJing has remained a passionate side endeavor. After a brief hiatus, MrG returned post-pandemic to curate and share his love for house music, from tech house to nu disco, through radio mixes.
