Got into the rave scene in the late 80's after listening to Rush FM tapes a mate from London used to send me. Immersed myself in Hardcore and it became not only the music I loved most but the music we used to sample and remix, and quickly begin to make ourselves. OctaMED & Amiga's man!
Jungle began to emerge from this scene and in 1994 we got hold of our first Jungle compilation - Jungle Mania. That was hook, line and sinker for me!
'94 also was my first rave, 'Fusion' at Hastings Pier.. it was all 'hardcore' except the middle set from DJ Hype. That was when I knew I was a Junglist, 17 year old little me haha.
Fast-forward to now, and although my musical tastes are extremely wide and varied, to me there's only really 3 genre's - Jungle/DnB, Pink Floyd and 'all the rest'.
I produced music from 1989 through 2005. Now I'm remastering the best of the old from the original tapes, and getting my production head back on for the near future ;>
