ORIGINS:
The name Dena is a combination of Deana meaning divine and Dina meaning from the valley; avenged or vindicated. I am a mixture of German, Irish, American, and Native American (Cherokee) and I come from a family of five children. I am the youngest of the five. My mother was going to spell my name Deana, but did not want people to call me De~Ana. There is Dana, David, Dawn, Damon and Dena, when they called one, we all came running. We moved down from Louisville, KY with the railroad in January of '81, when I was just four years old; So Jacksonville, FL is the only home I've ever known.
