Founded in 2008 the Association evolved from the long running ONET UK unit that was running sucessfuly in the UK since 1995. The IDFV meet on the first Wednesday of every month in St Michaels Irish Centre Liverpool. There are also meetings in London and Sussex. We boast 2 large branches - one in Lancashire (Northern Branch) and one in the London area (Southern Branch). The only remaining ONET Branch in UK has now disolved (Oct 2010) leaving the IDFV UK the only association in the UK where ex Irish servicemen and women can meet like minded people.
