Nacido en Montevideo, Uruguay, Ian Lampel es un productor, bajista y diseñador de sonido uruguayo alimentado por la visión y las técnicas de producción del hip hop, el dub, el jazz y la electrónica.

Siempre interesado en la mezcla entre lo orgánico y lo sintético, en el cruce de caminos entre nuevos y viejos lenguajes, produce e investiga con la intención de crear música con un carácter local y global simultáneamente , desde Uruguay y Sudamérica para el mundo.

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Ian Lampel is a producer, bass player and sound designer, nurtured by the vision and production techniques of hip hop, dub, jazz and electronica.

Since his first musical experiences he became interested in the mixture of the organic and the synthetic, in the crossroads of old and new languages alike, producing, digging and researching with the intention of creating music with both a local and global character, from Uruguay and South America, to the world.
