For about 10 years now the idea of fusing technology and music has always inspired and given me the chance to bring out my natural talent as well as my love for computers and technology. At around age 5 my mother bought me my first keyboard, and from playing the demo over and over again I had managed to play "Fur Ellise" by ear. As I grew up, my parents told me I had an almost prodigious talent that would lead me to great places. When I reached my preteen years I had developed an interest in computers. As with music, I had a natural talent to understanding how technology works. My father, being the musical geek he's molded me into, had introduced me to the art of audio technology. As with computers and music, I became well versed in the basics of audio technology. And finally, at age 18, I had discovered M-Audio Torq, which combined the very basics of my obsessions.
