Krank started his relationship with beats at an early age, teaching himself to play the drums at only ten years old. As a teen, Krank was drawn to the ferocity of Hip Hop music. He found himself connecting with the soulful melodies and production behind Tupac’s songs. In search of new ways to satisfy his ongoing thirst for music, an eighteen year old Krank took a risk and bought his first DJ set. Knowing nothing about the world of Djaying, he spent the next few years experimenting with different genres and developing his sound. Krank soon found his niche in house music and credits
