Phoenix Mourning-Star is an entrepreneur, talk radio host, freelance writer and experienced researcher with degrees in Mathematics, Biostatistics, International Environmental Law, and Ecology/Chemical Biological Engineering.

Phoenix did spend most of his youth on a small family farm in southwest Michigan before dropping out of high school to travel alone to New Mexico. He tells of his travels, adventures (and a few mishaps along the way) from Michigan to New Mexico, from San Diego, CA to Bellingham, WA and Vermont to Germany, New Zealand, Antarctica and points between and being going from being a homeless high school drop out to a science researcher in some of the worlds most prestigious institutions in a series of inspirational talks across the country.

He lives in Washington, DC where he specializes in International Science and Technology Policy and writing/speaking on his expertise in environmental, energy, policy, health and education issues.
