Three for me and my girl. She likes to stay awake and sleep in. I used to stay up all night anyway. Seeing her smile, seeing her rest, laughing as she retorts against my lame puns. I love her more even if we're not talking or she's asleep. That calmness of knowing we're there for each other. Each day, each struggle of my life, it becomes little-to-nothing. I tell myself, "Do it for her. One day, I'll keep that promise. She'll have everything she could ever dream of." My days are now an average person's week, but, for her, it's worth it.

Millions of people, everyone out for themselves, can this really be the only way?
