Homard à la Thermidor is a project only insofar as the word continues to turn.

It operates through instructed impulses designed to undo their own construction. Rhythm is employed as a false certainty, pulse as bait. What unfolds is not composition but interference — a disturbance introduced into temporal perception.

The work borrows freely and discards immediately, treating doctrine as a windmill: useful only while turning. Harmony is refused. Resolution is mocked. Meaning announces itself briefly, then devours itself.

Some encounter attraction.
Others resistance.
Both reactions are symptoms, not judgments.
