Virtually unknown outside the West Country, although not for much longer, the Joes possess a dynamism and polish on a par with the top recording stars.

The group's manager Richard Down insisted on producing their first disc, Boom Boom (everybody fall down), after catching the band at their monthly residency at the Locarno in Bristol.

The sound on the disc could almost have been taken from their live stage show: Full of energy & drive - the song bounces along until the last ringing chord.
