Billy (embassy/energyroom/solidhouse community)

There’s always that turning point in a person’s life that changed his path of life forever. For Billy, that moment came when he was VJ-ing in the house room of one of the major festivals in 2003, and saw the mighty DJ Buck performing. Since then, Billy’s involvement in Jogjakarta and Central Java’s house movement is undeniable, throwing parties and raves in cafes and exotic locations, Billy and his motley crew are becoming the house pioneers in their homeland.
In late 2005, in a scene dominated by live band and cafe culture, Embassy as the first pure club concept opened in Jogjakarta, and Billy with his house movement was of course the natural choice for its resident.
He also brought his bimonthly event called “WIZARD -the cult of proper house workout”, it was the rolling thunder of his house movement brand.
