I was born in the North of France in 1964. I discovered ELVIS in 1977, when I was 13 years old. A few years later I'm in the band on THE CORALS. We recorded our first 45 rpm on the Belgian label 'Mac Records'. And the passion for this music leads me to collect records by Gene Vincent, Little Richard, Buddy Holly and the groups of the 80s, Crazy Cavan, Matchbox, The Blue Cats and many other more obscure ones. I'm doing my first radio broadcasts. I'm organizing my first concerts. And since then, I have never stopped living every day with this music. To record album after album with Mystery Train, Hot Chickens, Wild Boogie Combo, The Nut Jumpers and of course under the pseudonym JAKE CALYPSO.
