I’m Herr Saleyka, a music enthusiast from East Frisia, northern Germany.

Oversized Sounds is my personal radio-style mix series, moving through ambient, experimental music, drone, minimal electronics and modern classical. Each mix starts with something different: a photograph, a place, a memory or a sound that stays with me.

I enjoy finding connections between unfamiliar music and old favourites, letting voices, textures and melodies tell a story together. Sometimes quiet and comforting, sometimes strange and unsettling.

My roots reach back to buying records in the 1990s and making noise and sound collages as mundkrach. That curiosity still shapes what I listen to and share today.
