I came into this world at the South Pole via a wormhole, and was raised by penguins until I was 5. It was at that fragile age that it dawned upon me that I suck at tap dancing, didn't look anything like a penguin and I got fed up with watching the eggs in the freezing cold while the girls go out feasting. So... I buggered off. I somehow ended up in South Africa and later Scotland. These days, I stay up until dawn, chase shooting stars and fight the urge to eat fish all the time. I throw stuff at the moon. I worship comets. I've seen every film by Julio Medem and I've traveled the world (sometimes successfully!). I have a soft spot for whisky, climbing big mountains and eating spicy food. And I think I'm coming round to icy winters.
