Got into metal in 1981. The Blizzard Of Ozz line-up is my all time favorite band. My first concert was AC/DC about 3 weeks before Randy Rhoads died. Second concert was Judas Priest in September 1982. In May of 1983 I saw HEAVY METAL SUNDAY at the Us Festival. I always thought and wanted Armored Saint to be the biggest American metal band in the world. In 12th grade I cut my hair off and did a stretch in the USMC. Nearly died twice in there but Navy surgeons brought me back from the dead. Grew my hair back in the late 90's. I'm a Metal Crusader reborn with sword in hand. The cover photo is (L to R) Brandon, myself and Mike at the FORUM for Black Sabbath's THE END TOUR. Those two guys went on to England for the final show of that tour. I met these guys in 2003 waiting for Iron Maiden tickets at the WHEREHOUSE in La Crescenta. I have a turn table in the garage and a 8-track player in my 69 Plymouth. Metal is and has been my life, hope to see you all slamming in the pit one day.
