I was born and raised in St.Helens . Dad was a coal-miner and he used to sing Perry Como songs ! Mum played the piano. I started playing guitar at age 11 years. Eventually this developed into writing lyrics. I admire the skills of many songwriters - from Paul Simon to Ed Sheeran, including James Taylor ( Frozen Man ), Gordon Sumner (Russians) and Jamie Cullum (Love is in the Picture). My songs are inspired by situations or people I have met over the years. Thanks for listening.
