Harley James is a familiar name in the Melbourne dance music scene; he has been a staple at many club nights over the years including venues such Pawn & Co, Revolver, Onesixone, Killing Time, and Circus Nightclub, had a successful 5 years running events with The Boogie Beats Collective, and is now running the weekly party ‘Hauswerk’ at the infamous Carlton Club on Friday nights.
Outside of this, he is no stranger to playing a diverse range of music outdoors, having performed for at the annual Merri Creek Day Gathering and a number of big festivals on the circuit including Rainbow Serpent, Babylon and Earthcore. His sound in these settings could be described as percussive & melodic, with tribal and afro house influences.
