Hardsilence’s BIO
Hugo Oliveira was born in Oporto the 26 of July of 1976 and started his dj career in 1990. Concluding his Architecture degree in 2001 conciliates since than his two dreams.
Back in 1990, discovered the art of djing supported by one of the finest portuguese dj’s, named Miguel Maia, and since than has been supported by Carlos Manaça and XL Garcia.
In 1998 wins a radio competition organized by Nova Era Radio that gave him notoriety to play as free lancer deejay at referenced Clubs like Rock’s, PACHA, CLUB MAU MAU, KADOC, MARÉ ALTA and others.
Between 2000 and 2004, worked as a resident dj at CLUB MAU MAU (Porto), QUANDO QUANDO Caffé bar (Porto), CAFFÉ DEL RIO (Porto), VERSUS CAFFÉ (Lixa), OFF (Viana do Castelo), Double O (Espinho) and RIVER CAFFÉ (Porto).
In 2003 began his career as a producer.
