Halo Halo Magasin

Halo-Halo Magazine was first published in 2007 as a community publication of the Filipino Association of Southampton. This is after the association was granted training fund by the European Social Fund and Learning Skills Council to help find opportunities for community members.

Newsletter production was one of the classes set up and the trainees have decided to publish a community paper and it was named Halo-Halo Magazine. The quarterly community magazine immediately gained trust and respect from readers including the Philippine Embassy in London and the Southampton local council.

HHM carried on providing vital channel of information and entertainment, however, hibernated after four successive issues as opportunities to expand hindered by unfortunate turn-of-events including the lack of funds

Now, in its new jazzy format – A5 size glossy magazine, HHM is re-launching with a vision to become the official Filipino communities’ publication in the Southern part of England.
