Hi, I'm Alicia (DJ Gwaan Gal), a DJ from Auckland, New Zealand, currently residing in Melbourne.
I host a fortnightly radio show - 'I Like Chicken' on Fleet FM - http://www.fleetfm.co.nz
Whilst living in Perth I completed the electronic music production course at SAE and I now produce hip hop and dancehall beats.
I've played at most clubs in Auckland, New Zealand and ran the dancehall gig - Buss It Up, which was New Zealand's most popular regular dancehall club night.
I've played at the biggest festivals in NZ - Splore, Soundsplash and Rhythm and Vines and on radio stations - Fleet FM, George FM, Base FM and Bfm. I play all genres of music but especially love reggae, hip hop and downbeat.
I'm a graduate of the RedBull Music Academy where I had the great opportunity of being inspired by some of the music industry's best producers.
