Matt is a singer-songwriter from Burnham-On-Sea, Somerset. Matt was playing guitar by the age of 11, shortly before discovering his song writing talents, aged just 15. Based in Plymouth for the last few years, Matt felt it was time to start his journey to show his works to the world. Writing music for almost a decade, Matt now has a back catalogue of over 120 songs. Matt has released tracks over the last few years and has gained a small following which has steadily grown. Now the musician is set to release his debut E.P. ‘The Bird & The Tree’ which consists of four tracks Matt has wrote over the last few years.
Matt spent a lot of time recording at home and didn’t play live until 2013. Now the artist performs at least twice a week, performing over 145 gigs in 2015, including MTV crashes Plymouth 2015.
“Do what you wanted to do when you were young. We grow up and put our dreams behind us. I’ve remained in the same mind set and now I am fortunate enough to do what I love.”
