Griselda Sanderson is a musician, composer, producer and label manager at Waulk Records. She specialises in ethnic bowed strings and cross-cultural collaborations, the most recent with pan-European act Meridianum Ensemble. She has released three albums of her own as well as collaborations with artists from Morocco, Senegal and The Gambia, amongst others. She has played at many UK festivals - WOMAD, Glastonbury, Cropredy, Larmer Tree & Towersey - worked with the RSC and at Shakespeare's Globe, London. As a music journalist she worked with Rhythm Passport (online world music magazine) interviewing artist such as Baaba Maal and Bassekou Kouyate and has had academic articles published on the topic of cross-cultural collaboration and the oral tradition.
