That’s how DJ Grimeminister describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep into mixing and blending or just rolling out, his vast musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on Dancehall Reggae, Hip-Hop, RnB, Soul, House & Garage, Funk and combination of Drum & Bass music, what would now be called Jump Up, ( Roni Size, Dillinja, Bad Company, Generation Dub ) Liquid ( High Contrast ) Darkstep ( Ed Rush & Optical… all have become infused into his own production of music, Grime ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence which he portraits today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: menacing synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, funky drum patterns, and of course occasional vocal hooks … all processed to a rolling DnB beat.
