Grime-step is a series of mixes hosting some of the biggest tunes grime & dubstep have to offer. Both were created in the early 2000's in London, evolving from other genres such as two step and garage. They both have the same tempo of 140 BPM as a rule of thumb. With all the similarities they both sound different and both have a large fan base backing them with websites devoted for discussion and progression of the two scenes. Artists have made it mainstream aswel, getting prime time slots on Radio and TV
Bringing the two together creates a unique blend of the two sounds and this is then presented in a simple mix. Each volume will hold a different range of artists from the two scenes. The mixes themselves are nothing fancy. Nothing over the top.
