G-Reys born with the handle Gabriel Reyes has shed the skin of the
atypical, traveled down the road of whimsical musical nonsense; to
find various genres that he calls home. His real passion is house
music. A genre with whom he has had a on again off again relationshipbut from whom he can never separate. Nevertheless, it's always quite a show for those with voyeuristic ears.

G-Reys (Some NYC Cats) came up between New York City, Santo Domingo, and Miami, and has cultivated a relationship with electronic music through its various incarnations. In the early 90’s while living in the Dominican Republic he was introduced to rave music and shortly afterwards began DJing house parties and events.

Fast-forward to 1997 when he relocated to Miami and became part of the full-fledged rave scene. Here he was introduced to new sounds: breakbeats, trance, drum and bass.
