Playing right through the spectrum of Disco, Electronica and House, Grant Holmes is resident DJ and co-promoter at Edit. Presents.
When not on Edit duties Grant can be found playing at various nights and festivals such as Alfresco Festival Kent, The Beat Herder Festival Clitheroe, Glitter Babe, Gorilla and The Refuge in Manchester, La Discotheque at Manchester’s Albert Hall, Demented Disco and Drop the Beat Festival in Lancashire.
Hailing originally from Blackburn, Grant’s early teenage years luckily coincided with the boom of the illegal Blackburn Warehouse Parties and Acid House music explosion, and this is where his love of house music was forged. Grant then progressed from house music obsessive train spotter to DJ’ing in clubs at night and working in record shops during the day. Grant has been DJ’ing professionally in clubs and bars since the summer of 95.
