GOUT ODM: Optimizing Disease M

After participating in this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to provide more effective therapy for gout by initiating urate lowering therapy when needed and monitoring urate levels at appropriate intervals. Discussion is also given to current recommendations for the use of short-term anti-inflammatory agents, while evaluating patients for the presence of co-morbidities. The faculty describe how to tailor management strategies accordingly to counsel, educate to promote better patient adherence to long-term therapies for gout.
