DJ GNO which is pronounced “NO” because the g is silent. DJ GNO first got a taste for disc jockeying as an intern with Emmis Communications in 2001. He paid his dues as a remote broadcast tech setting up the equipment for remote broadcasts. He then moved to New York City in 2003 to pursue a career in music and worked in the Marketing and Promotions department at Kiss FM as well as HOT 97. While working in radio in NYC he simultaneously became quite the nightlife aficionado as a club promoter in several city hotspots. With heavy influence from several colleagues in the business and added motivation from popular disc jockeys at the time, DJ GNO began his career behind the wheels of steel in 2008. By 2009, DJ GNO had a residency on Friday nights at the worlds first eco-friendly nightclub called “Greenhouse,” in addition to several noteworthy clients such as TMG PR, Sugar & Spice, and the former New Jersey Nets.
