SOAS Radio, Ghetto Lounge ラジオショーではロンドン在住の日本人DJ Koichi Sakaiが良質のソウル、ジャズ、ファンク、レゲエ、ラテン、アフロビートをお届けします。

Ghetto Loungeは２００３年にブリックレーンにあるカフェ１００１でDJイベントとしてスタートして、今でも毎月第1月曜日と第３日曜日に開催されています。現在はレコードレーベルでもあり、またフェラ・クティのスピリットを受け継ぐ"Afrobeat Vibration"や、ビート・ジェネレーションのスタイルを現代風に再現した"JAZZ ON THE ROAD"などのライブイベントで、ロンドンのすばらしい音楽ムーヴメントと文化を紹介するプロモーターとしても活動しています。

Ghetto Lounge started as a DJ event in Café 1001, Brick Lane since 2003, and is still running today on 1st Monday and 3rd Sunday of every month. Ghetto Lounge is also a recording label and promoter of the quality musical culture movement of London, with live performances at "Afrobeat Vibration" bringing the spirit of Fela Kuti and "JAZZ ON THE ROAD" reproducing the style and essence of the ‘beat generation'
