Israeli-born owner George F Shohat started the label in 2008. Markie Gee was added in 2011 for marketing, promotion and A&R.

GEORGE F also known as TEKKMAN founded GF Recordings in the beginning of 2008. GF Recordings received great recognition for strong releases, churning out quality music and working with well known producers to archive a journey of the best fresh electronic music sounds.
