Gerardo Rosales began his musical career at the end of the 70. In Venezuela, he was percussionist in the major orchestras of his country. In 1992, he set up his base in Europe and has since toured worldwide.He has recorded 17 CDs with his band and over 70 CDs with other artists. He specializes in Latin Jazz, Salsa and cuban, venezuelan and caribbean rhythms.He has founded important projects like Venezuelan Masters Orchestra, Combo Mundial,Charanga La Crisis, Our Latin Groove, Cachao Sounds and others.Played with: Dee Dee Bridgewater, Benny Bailey, Paquito D' ’Rivera, Bebo Valdés, Leonardo Almuedo, Toots Thielemans, Jimmy Bosch, Herman Olivera, Oscar D' ’León, Sexteto Latino, El Canario, Andy Montañéz, Meñique, Fruko, Diego Galé, Edy Martínez, Carlos “Patato” Valdés, Mauricio Silva, Conexión Latina, Alfredo Rodríguez, Armando Peraza, Luisito Quintero, Marcial Istúriz, Ramón Valle & Nicky Marrero.
