Matthew Broderick may be married to Sarah Jessica Parker, but this new play opening in the West End last night is no Sex And The City. 

Broderick is one of Hollywood's nice guys and does a low-status star turn as a middle-aged astronomer in a new play by Kenneth Lonergan - author of the film script for Manchester By The Sea.

Broderick's character is unremarkable Mark, a 52-year-old man stuck in a professional and marital cul de sac...until he meets trainee nurse Angela, whose son is interested in astronomy.
