I have been writing since I was twelve years old. My father and my English teacher encouraged me and I’m ever grateful to them. In my twenties I had a regular column in a local free newspaper which was fun. I’ve been an editor and designed the layout of books. Many of my poems have been published in magazines over the years. I prefer to do performance poetry rather than publish poetry books, but I might change my mind. Thanks to Leo Ulph, the fabulous radio presenter of ‘Upload’, I have featured regularly on BBC Radio Kent. I have written and self-published three non-fiction books and currently I’m re-writing a novel.
