After starting DJing by downloading the unmixed version of DJ/Rupture's Uproot and trying to recreate it on my iPad last year, I got some hardware together and decided to start exploring DJing further, as I learned it combined two of my favorite things: discovering music, and taking music way too seriously. With my longest-running electronic music taste being minimal techno, I have found a lot to like in house, deep house, and tech house, while retaining my love for the textures of techno.
