I am George Ouma Odhiambo, Also-Known-As DJ Jojo (Stage Name) from Niarobi Kenya. I started my career in music at Jambo Music Store in Kisumu town in 1982 as a sales manager and purchasing officer working closely with Polygram, EMI, CBS and AIT as their main distributor outlet in western part of Kenya and the bordering countries, Uganda and Tanzania. Later, I joined Oula Recording company in 1986 which was owed by the legendary late Collela Mazee of Victoria 'B' Kings as their Marketing Manager for the band and the company. In 1992, I founded 'Jojo Records' which is a Publishing Label which recorded music and promoted local musicians, mostly from the Western part of Kenya. I have since been taking part in the Kenyan music industry trying to improve the welfare and exposure of our local Kenyan musicians. I have also collected, cataloged, recorded and archived Kenyan, East African and the rest of the worlds music in record vinyl (Singles and LPs), Cassettes, CDs and DVDs
