For almost 10 years, I've channeled my love for all things popular culture into the award-winning website and podcast, GeekintheCity.com. In 2011 I self-published my first comic, La Brujeria - www.geekinthecitycomics.com. A whimsical take on Western European myth mixed with Latin American folklore, La Brujeria draws on my Mexican heritage, love of mythology, and my adopted hometown of Portland. In addition to my comic work, I write for Newsarama.com. Most of my days are spent at the computer, with a incredibly cowardly Greyhound at my side.
