Animal Defection is the project of the Pastorelli brothers, Alberto and Gilberto aka Numskull and Gbee, formed in Arezzo in 2010 together with the Dj / Producer Crafty Type aka Francesco Polvani. Their first release, "Donkey", released in 2012 on BNC Express, another was released in 2014 on Avantgarde Recordings and the latest "Sajuuk" created in collaboration with Hanzo, was scored in 2016 on the prestigious label Cause 4 Concern. In the years following the formation, the duo performs alongside important djs of the Italian and international scene of the likes of Friction, Pendulum, BlackSunEmpire, Spor, Phace, InsideInfo, Prolix, Gridlok, Sub Focus, BTK, Jade, Maztek, Kill The Noise, Rockwell, Roni Size, Aeph, Dabs, Hanzo & Randie, Benny Page, Hallucinator, Kung, Nocturnal, ArpXp, Enei. Their 3 deck sets have always been defined by the powerful bass and the dark atmospheres typical of the neurofunk and the Minimal Funk.
