Born in Cape Town on 25 March 1945. Attended Rustenburg Girls Junior and High Schools in Rondebosch. Worked as a Secretary for Law firm, Electrical Engineers and JBS. Married Martin Wilhelm Schulenburg, an Architect, on 29 March 1969. Moved to Pretoria and lived there for 40 years and in 2008 relocated back to Cape Town and have retired to Hout Bay.
