Gav Smith (formally known as fit for purpose) is an electronic music project by Northern Irish DJ and producer Gavin Smith. Inspired by artists such as Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Fergie DJ, and Lisa Lashes, Gav is an artist who likes to get progressive with his track selection and is well accustomed to playing across multiple genres, encompassing everything from house to techno with an emphasis on the deeper and darker side of things.
With six year’s worth of DJIng experience in his arsenal, Gav brings the values he has learned during his service to everything he does behind the decks. Dedication and discipline have seen him truly master the art of DJing in such a short period, mixing tracks with military precision and keeping the peace on the dancefloor.
