Gavin Mc Donagh

Gavin started his career over 15 years ago training in Dublin’s top restaurants including l’Ecrivian and Guilbauds, as well as heading a team in Shanahan’s on the Green. He has also spent time training in France, Germany and the UK.

Gavin has trained in top hotels as well as event catering, corporate dining and staff restaurants and was also craft trainer for leading management company.

Gavin represented Ireland in prestigious culinary competitions, including Bocuse d’Or France, 3 culinary olympics and the Asian world championships. He has also won Irish chef of the year and young chef of the year.

Gavin Currently runs SMG Catering T/A Brioche Cafe/ Catering over seeing two Restaurants as well as a busy catering business.
