Gary Moore of Premiere Cinemas tells his theatre managers that they are his boss, not the other way around. “Our job is to make sure you have everything you need to do the best job you can entertaining our guests,” he told them at a summit recently at a CineShow conference. “In that respect, you don’t work for me, I work for you, and so does our entire corporate team.” Joel Davis, the Vice President of Operations for Premiere, stated that Premiere’s culture that is “round-table management”, a place where ideas are always welcome and everyone is encouraged to contribute.
