Gary Tomlin aka Daddy GT was born in London but grew up in a district called Smithville in Clarendon Jamaica. I had an interest in music from a young age and learned to play the acoustic guitar by his cousin Fitzroy (profit) Tomlin. In the late 1980's My friends an I formed a reggae band called Mercenaries which I played the bass guitar. I then went on to play the rhythm guitar in another reggae band called Iwah and Ghettolites.
