I'm a criminal defense attorney in Detroit. I received a B.A. and law degree from MSU, (including a semester at Cambridge Univ. Law in England). I spent many years in the music industry booking, promoting and managing musicians as well as working promo for CBS and WB. Among others, I managed The Rockets, Mark Farner/Grand Funk RR, Eric Burdon & the Animals, Kenny Rankin & John Stewart. I toured the U.S., doing hundreds of dates with Kiss, The Who, Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac and ZZ Top to name but a few. Some of my more fun experiences include living in CA with the Whittingham family (including Charlie - one of the most successful horse trainers in history) after hitchhiking there from Detroit and living in and touring Europe in a VW conversion minivan for 6 mos, being part owner of and touring with the world's only mechanical surfboard, and co-owning 2 stereo and record stores - in E. Lansing & Columbus, OH - named Magnolia Thunderpussy.
