I got switched on to House and Techno back in 89 and trashed my tape collection to record pirate radio stations like Smart Boys 101.2, Friends, LSR & Jocks Caf… (see my uploads below... class mixes!)
I played out in local pubs in South & West London for a few years across the mid 90s after which life got busy and the decks got dusty.
DJ apps on iPad rekindled my passion for mixing and blending tunes and before long was back out playing parties with friends.
The Technics made it back into the kitchen on a permanent basis at Christmas 2019 ...which was fortunate timing given what was around the corner.
Streaming took hold during Lockdown and became regular occurrences. Highly addictive!
