Kate Halsall is a musician who makes contemporary classical and experimental music, collaborating with other artists to create cross diaciplinary performances.

Her group, Galvanize is an improvisation ensemble and cross-media art project based in rural Cumbria, Newcastle Upon Tyne and London, UK, run by Kate and working with many guest artists.
