Born and raised on a dairy and sheep farm in North Taranaki to very musical talented parents . Made my debut on stage at 11 singing San Antonio Rose and Blue Hawaii . Learnt piano and guitar and did voice training at College and Teacher's College in the late 60s . Took up country singing at 30 . Have performed in dance bands , competed in Country Music Awards and won several Overall Awards with singing and songwriting .Have three albums to date . Work part time in Occupational Therapy at a hospital for the mentally ill and outside of my job enjoy singing at country music clubs , at festivals and on shows . Love reading and watching a good movie . Also enjoy walking and aqua jogging .Love meeting and making new friends on the net . Would love to visit Ireland one day and the UK .
Have three grown up children and a partner who is Tokelaun and is a great ukulele player .Also have one grand daughter Teidyn who I love to spend time with .
