I grew up outside of Toronto and started listening to reggae in 1993. Bob Marley's LP "Legend" and then the boxset "Songs of Freedom" were my first inspirations. A few years later, I discovered dub, early dancehall, and heavy '70s roots music. It was a full-on obsession. By 1998 my main hobby was digging for records, and by 2001 I was DJing weekly at Montreal's longest-running reggae night (Blizzarts Wednesdays). I've been collecting and DJing reggae for almost 25 years, and I make my mixes live using Serato's DJ control vinyl and real vinyl. You can find playlists for some of my mixes on Tidal.
